Nearby Talk is a voice room between iPhones that are physically close, with no account and no internet.

Common questions

• Nobody appears nearby. Both phones need Local Network permission and either the same Wi‑Fi network or Bluetooth turned on. Bring the phones within a few metres and give it a few seconds.
• I can’t hear anyone. Check the Microphone permission in Settings, and that you aren’t muted (the dot turns orange when you are).
• Your data. Nothing is stored anywhere but your phone; deleting the app removes it all. See the privacy policy.
